Ute Country News: Wild and Free!

With rapidly changing times upon us, I feel blessed to know some of
the wild foods/medicines that grow in Ute country and I’m happy to pass that information along. Two of the wild ones in my yard and
greenhouse every year are mallow and purslane. It’s no surprise the two share common traits in that they are enthusiastic volunteers
that can grow in dry, hot conditions. Interesting enough, both are used to relieve dry, hot conditions in humans and animals. Read Full Story
